Dominion Baltic Porter

A nice winter seasonal offering from the brewery from Delaware.  Their Baltic Porter is more like a stout, being 6.8%, but seems the Porter and Stout terms have become nearly interchangeable.  It pours very dark, with a nice creamy head that smells of rye and roasted malt.  The taste is smooth and chocolatey, with just the right amount of carbonation.  Like many porters/stouts, it really opens up as it warms in your glass.

A hearty ale, worthy of replenishing your wasted carbs after a good ride.
