Today was IMBA's Take a Kid Mountain-Biking Day.... with some help of a handful of volunteers and the support of the REI and our local mtb club (RaMORE), we had a rather successful day getting some kids on their bikes and riding some trail, some confidence building, and lots of smiles :)
I'm already thinking of how to make next year's even better....
Thanks again to the great volunteers/ride leaders (David, David, Larry, Marty, Ryan), my wife Steph for bring the pizza, REI for the event support and swag, Richmond MORE for sponsoring the food/drinks/materials, Rowletts for the waterbottles, and Pocahontas State Park for the venue!!
