Felt good to get a nice ride in finally, even if was solo....I cranked out the first several miles at a blistering pace, trails were nice and tacky and the winter leaves are finally getting ground up and packed in.
As I stopped for water, I felt I could hear my bike tinkling, kinda like your car engine makes that metallic tinkling sound after a long drive as it cools down.
Finished out the rest of the ride mixing in a fair amount of fireroad spinning so as to work in some aerobic activity. Ran across some deer which ran along side the trail and then bound across and out of sight.
By the next ride, I bet some more green will be starting to emerge from all the flora. Not ready for all the bugs yet, but I'm glad that winter is wrapping up!
