Although the weather forecasters couldn't decide if was gonna snow much or not, the snow kept coming all day and blanketed the county with, I'm guessing, 4-6" of powder.
Had a hard time getting motivated to load up the bike, but after a quick spin up the neighborhood road to check the traction, I decided it was now or never.
Tried to ride some trail but it was mostly blocked by holly trees, bowing under the weight of the snow.

don't eat this snow:
I forgot how fun, and hard, a good snow ride could be. Rear traction was better than I expected with the WTB Nanoraptor...I only bogged down a few times in some deeper snow drifts, but was able to tractor up all the fireroad climbs.
