alright, so I'm a few days late, but happy 2010 anyway.
It's been a relatively good year, some bad, some good stuff, but most of us are still living and breathing, so that's a good thing.
The end of 2009 marked the end of my tenure as the FoPSP prez and now a new reign begins. The group has grown a lot in 2009 and we now have some very devoted and talented folks taking the lead.
Lots of new trail potential in the central VA region has been uncovered as well, with the planned trail for west Goochland, as well as the improvements for Forest Hill park to start in 2010. So it looks like 2010 will be an awesome year to get involved in trailwork in the area.
Party time for me on Dec 31st included watching the VT bowl game and sipping some Victory Golden Monkey Tripel....this confirmed the fact that I still do not care for Belgian beers, but it did pack a punch behind that nasty spicy aftertaste....
Regretably, I couldn't make it to the Ocatane Saints show to rock filthy into the new year, but this lingering sinus cold has really killed my energy....
oh, well.....so here's a cheers to the new year and some great riding and friendships and love.
