I'm and idiot, lessons learned....

I've ridden a hundred times with a pump and spare tube and never used them.

I've ridden a hundred times without a pump or spare tube and haven't needed them.



tonight, I needed both, but had neither.

I had stopped to do a little ad-hoc trail work, and when I came back to the bike, my tire was completely flat... no warning, no slow leak, completely flat.  

I made it out from Lakeview Too and made the long slow trip back to Qualla on a flat front tire. I stuffed the front tire casing with some weeds which kept me rolling (not completely on the rim) but I don't recommend this over pneumatic tires.

WTF!?...lesson(s) learned.....the hard way.
