thanks to Braden at Carytown Bicycle Co. for building up this wagon wheel of fatty proportions!
Velocity P35 rim, laced to a HOPE Pro2 hub.
The wheel built up nice and light considering the enormousness of this rim....
Casing width of the 2.4 Ardent now is of the proportion of the WTB Weirwolf 2.55 (which is currently mounted on a 29mm width rim). Running it with a tube for now, but see myself attempting a tubeless conversion soon.....CBC didn't have Stan's rimstrips wide enuf, but will have some on order....
Initial ride on the NB->Belle Isl->FHP->Buttermilk->NB loops tells me I'm gonna like this set up.
