Today I took the trusty Salsa el Mariachi out for a spin on some local renegade trails that parallel a railroad, including some powerline trail.
Reminded me of back in my youth when I would take the bike on some exploring rides, see how far I could go and where the powerlines would take me (usually to the other side of town).
^Sometimes you can find some interesting stuff when you look around, including these abandoned satelite dishes..... nearby are some gigantic towers,anchored in place by a triad of cables, that most likely replaced these.
this stretch has lots of ball-bearing tennis ball sized rocks which can be tricky...
